Plug-ins Won’t Work in CS5?

I just downloaded the 30-day trial of the Adobe CS5 Master Collection for the Mac and ran across a problem trying to locate some of my plug-ins from the Filters menu. After some quick searching online, I discovered the issue is from Photoshop running in 64-bit. It seems quite a few plug-ins simply won’t show up in the Filter drop-down menu unless Photoshop is running in 32-bit.

To switch to 32-bit on the Mac, right-click on the Photoshop icon in applications (not on your dock) and select “get info”. On the next screen, you should see a checkbox to select ’32-bit’. This should get your plug-ins up and running in CS5.
