How to Digitally Photograph Cars

In a new weekly “Bookshelf” series, I’ll be posting some books that have helped influence my skill set and career direction while providing a short review. The first book up I had actually pre-ordered way back in 2009 when it first released.  Authored by Jason Siu and Josh Mackey, it seemed to be the only book available at the time that helped explore some of the mysteries of automotive rig shots.  The book also explores topics such as choosing your equipment, static and action photography including car-to-car shots, panning, and the rig shot.  It also dives a bit into post-processing your images in Photoshop.  No longer in publish, this book seems to be commanding a bit higher price tag, but might be worth picking up (if you can find it for a decent price) for anyone looking to learn more about automotive photography.
